Ribbon Blender mixers are used to blend dry solids in large volumes. They also coat large volumes of solid particles with the least amount of liquid. The mixer is equipped with an agitator having helical ribbons fixed in the centre of the ribbon blender container. This mixes different solid ingredients effectively within a short span. The radial movement of blades from end to centre and vice versa which results in homogeneous mixing of ingredients. Proper sealing is provided to ensure material cannot escape the container nor any foreign particles enter into it. The main parameters of mixing efficiency are particle size and bulk density.
