About the role
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will manage the complete lifecycle of E&I projects, from design to implementation. You will review client and process requirements, prepare technical documentation, and ensure timely delivery in line with project schedules. The role requires strong technical knowledge, vendor coordination, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve engineering excellence.
Experience & Qualifications
3–7 years of professional experience in electrical and electronics engineering within the manufacturing industry
BE/B Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), BE/B Tech Instrumentation engineering
Skillsets
Project management – Manage all aspects of E&I projects, from requirement review and design to implementation and as-built documentation.
Technical activities –
- Conduct technical evaluations for E&I items
- Prepare BOQs for E&I materials and equipment
- Perform instrument sizing
- Review P&ID and PFD documents
- Review MDS/BOI data sheets for all equipment
- Review site plans and equipment layouts for E&I activities
- Prepare E&I cable tray layouts
- Identify, review, and finalise E&I tie-in points on plot plans
Vendor management – Raise enquiries, evaluate technical offers, and approve vendor drawings.
Design & documentation – Develop engineering deliverables including resource plans, hook-up drawings, and final as-built documents.
Cross-functional coordination – Collaborate with Client Managers and internal teams to prepare schedules and ensure seamless execution.
