Sudhir Manaktala

Sudhir took over the reins from his father, our founder Onkarnath Manaktala, in 1976, driving our expansion into the African continent. Four years later, his brother Sunil Manaktala joined him. Under their joint stewardship, Kumar's business has grown to over 500 customers in 65 countries, in line with the family's vision to one day make Kumar the world's leading oils and fats process engineering company.

Sudhir believes in maintaining good relationships with customers, staff and suppliers. He maintains close relationships with Kumar's extended customer network and supports them as they need. His conviction is that the family's sincerity and integrity have resulted in customers expressing confidence and giving Kumar repeat business for decades. He is also involved in our sales and marketing efforts and ensuring our younger directors have all the moral support they need to deliver on their objectives.
